Pokemon Generations - Red and Blue Collection: Charizard EX

As I'm sure a lot of you are aware, Pokemon Generations expansion is finally here and we have already seen the likes of some of the new releases such as the Mythical Mew Collection box. I myself wasn't lucky enough to get my hands on that specific box as many stores ran out of stock almost immediately and for good reason! However there's nothing to fear as now available is the Mythical Celebi Collection box and the Charizard EX Red and Blue Collection box which is what I am going to be running through today.

I wasn't going to allow my bad planning skills to let me down this time so I pre-ordered it to ensure I was one of the first to get my hands on this gorgeous box and I was not sorry! First off, you get this amazing full art Charizard EX card featuring Magmar and Flareon in the background, side note - I assume Magmar is in this card art from the epic battle the two Pokemon had in the anime which I highly recommend watching. If you are in the UK like me, you will also receive the same card as the Charizard but in jumbo size which will be a great addition to my wall once I find space to put it. If you're from the US I believe you get a small Charizard figure which looks pretty awesome too! Then you receive the four items everyone is interested in... The generations booster packs which features each pack design on the front. From what I have heard, in the generations booster packs there are some crazy high pull rates and I was eager to rip into mine and see what was waiting for me. I shall give you a sneak peek at some of the best cards I pulled.

In this set there are some truly stunning art works on the EX cards and Full Art cards, as well as some awesome reprints from previous sets. I was hoping for maybe two EX's or a Full Art however let me tell you it was a lot better than what I expected...

That's right guys, I pulled Sylveon EX from Radiant Collection, the very desirable Charizard EX and the gorgeous Zapdos Full Art. Now I've had a little hunt round on ebay mainly at rough estimates of the prices for these cards. Obviously I have no interest in selling them I'm afraid however this is what I found:
Sylveon EX - £5-£6
Charizard EX - £15-£20
Zapdos Full Art - £15 - £20

And seeing as the box cost me £20 initially, I would say that's some pretty damn good luck!

I would highly recommend any Pokemon TCG fan, any Pokemon fan... Heck anyone to get this collection box because the cards are just so beautiful and its definitely worth the purchase.

I hope you guys enjoy this quick update on the Charizard EX collection box and I wish you the best of luck in all of your openings and make sure you understand the power that's inside.
